On this important day I invite you to engage in the journey of reconciliation by exploring some of the free resources offered by ICT (Indigenous Corporate Training). ICT offers a suite of online materials designed to help us learn about Canada’s past to better understand the present and, hopefully, develop a deeper appreciation of Indigenous perspectives.
Here are a few suggested readings I found helpful:
- A Brief Timeline of the History of Indigenous Relations in Canada
- What Reconciliation Is and What It Is Not
The ICT website also offers other free materials as well as books and training courses that can be purchased.
